Depart Marrakech at 8:00, cross Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO). Continue to Ouarzazate for a short stop at Taourirt Kasbah. Drive through Skoura and Rose Valley to Dades. Overnight in Dades (dinner included).
Morning drive to Todra Gorge for a walk among the cliffs. Continue to Merzouga via Erfoud. Late afternoon camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes, watch sunset. Overnight in desert camp (dinner & breakfast).
Sunrise over dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert: visit Khamlia village (Gnawa music), nomadic families, and the lake of Merzouga (seasonal). Optional 4x4 excursion. Second night in desert camp.
Morning camel ride back. Drive through the Ziz Valley gorges, stop in Midelt for lunch. Continue via the cedar forests of Azrou (see Barbary apes). Arrive in Fes in the evening. Overnight in Fes (dinner included).
Full day exploring Fes medina: visit the Royal Palace gate, Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Attarine Madrasa, Bou Inania Madrasa, Chouara Tannery, and Quaraouiyine Mosque. Overnight in Fes.
Transfer to Fes airport or end of tour after breakfast. (Optional extra night).
