Experience the ultimate Moroccan adventure on this 5-day journey from Marrakech to Merzouga. Traverse the High Atlas, visit the iconic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, explore the Todra Gorges, and immerse yourself in the Sahara Desert. Reiseroute

Tag 1 - Marrakesch → Ait Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Dades-Tal

Depart Marrakech at 8:00, cross Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO). Continue to Ouarzazate for a short photo stop at Taourirt Kasbah. Drive through the Rose Valley to Dades. Overnight in Dades (dinner included).

Tag 2 - Dades → Todra-Schlucht → Merzouga (Wüstencamp)

Morning drive to Todra Gorge for a walk among the cliffs. Continue to Merzouga. Late afternoon camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes, watch sunset. Overnight in a luxury desert camp (dinner & breakfast).

Tag 3 - Erkundung der Wüste Merzouga

Sunrise over dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert: visit Khamlia village (Gnawa music), nomad families, and the lake of Merzouga (seasonal). Return to camp for a second night with traditional music and storytelling.

Day 4 – Merzouga → Rissani → Ouarzazate

Morning camel ride back to village. Visit Rissani market (if Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday). Then drive back via the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate. Overnight in Ouarzazate (dinner included).

Day 5 – Ouarzazate → Marrakech

Visit Atlas Film Studios or Taourirt Kasbah (optional). Drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas, arriving late afternoon. Drop-off at your accommodation.

We offer one night in a luxury camp (private bathroom, comfortable beds) and one night in a standard camp (shared facilities). Both have traditional tents, dinner, and music.
